Hisham Aidi is contributing editor of Souls: A Critical Journal of Black Culture, Politics and Society at Columbia University’s Institute for Research in African American Studies. Aidi was a Carnegie Scholar in 2008-2009, and is currently a Fellow at the Open Society Institute.
